With Napoli among the top-performing teams in Serie A currently, the reigning league champions will now turn their attention to Cagliari at Unipol Domus this Friday.
As it stands, Napoli are third on the log after amassing 59 points from 29 games played so far following their 2-1 win against Lecce at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona this past weekend.
Napoli have now gathered three wins on the spin and trail second place by a mere point, while being nine behind log leaders Inter Milan. Regarding their form, Napoli recorded three wins, one draw and one defeat in their last five matches as they continue to push for a place in European football next season.
Cagliari will head into their next game sitting in 15th position after suffering a 3-1 loss against Pisa on Sunday. With 30 points from 29 matches, Cagliari are going through a barren spell of results that includes three losses and two draws in their last five league fixtures.
Adding to their woes, Cagliari will hope to avoid the drop this season and currently sit six points above the relegation zone.

Speaking after Napoli’s win over Lecce, Antonio Conte provided clarity on his future by expressing that he intends on creating a good foundation for the club to thrive on.
"When I signed for Napoli, I did so on a three-year contract. I have also said that when I one day leave the club, I want to do so after having laid a solid foundation – that we have won the league, the cup and played in the Champions League," Conte said.
"For many top coaches, the Champions League is an important goal, not least because the tournament also brings in large financial revenues.
"If we do not share the same vision for the future, I will leave with great respect.”
