After clinching the 2025/26 Serie A title, Inter Milan will end their season in a relaxed manner as they prepare to do battle against Lazio on Saturday.
Inter dethroned Napoli as the new kings of Italian football this past weekend, following a 2-0 win over Parma on home soil. The victory took Inter to 82 points, 12 points ahead of Napoli with three games to go.
In addition to their long-standing dominance at the top, Inter boasts the league's best attack, scoring 82 goals after 35 matches. With the campaign heading to a close, Inter recorded four wins and one draw in their last five matches.
Lazio on the other hand, will have to settle for a mid-table finish this season as they occupy eighth position with 51 points after 35 games.
The popular Serie A side last secured a 2-1 away win over Cremonese, extending their unbeaten run to three matches.
As for their form, Lazio recorded two wins, two draws and one loss in each of their last handful of league fixtures.

Speaking after Inter claimed their 21st Serie A title, Cristian Chivu expressed that he relied on experiences he had as a player, while coming to terms with the brutal nature of being a football coach.
“I just try to be the best version of myself, to help these lads who sometimes need the carrot, sometimes the stick,” Chivu said.
“I try to draw on the experience I had in many locker rooms, and try not to repeat the errors I dealt with as a player.
“I try to be empathetic, understanding, not to think about the consensus of critics outside, but only on what those who love me think. I am the coach, I will always be up for debate and at risk, it’s the job.”
