AC Milan host Bologna FC at San Siro on 28 October, eager to turn home advantage into vital Serie A points.
Head-to-Head
AC Milan cruised to a 3-0 away victory in their most recent clash against Bologna in February 2026.
The Rossoneri dominate the historical Serie A record with 74 wins to Bologna’s 38, alongside 40 draws across 152 total meetings.
Milan remain dominant in recent memory as they are undefeated in their last three league games against Bologna, recording three successive wins.
Team News
AC Milan count on key performers like Adrien Rabiot, Christian Pulisic and Omari Hutchinson, while managing a heavy injury list with Matteo Gabbia, Alexis Saelemaekers, Samuel Chukwueze, Mario Gila, and Diego Moreira all ruled out.
Bologna lean on core players Artem Dovbyk, Jens Odgaard, and Nicolò Casale to lead the setup, while navigating several key absences as Emil Holm, Riccardo Orsolini, and Roberto Piccoli are all sidelined with injuries.
Quotes
"Every match will be decisive... It will be important to understand the level and current state of our team," Milan manager Ruben Amorim said ahead of the clash with Bologna.
"The first thing is not to exaggerate the situation and put pressure on younger players: we must help younger players understand that football is a roller coaster. We need to work hard during the week, and then there will be more and more space for them in the team."
